Health concerns such as diabetes, heart disease, and digestive issues can be improved through making better food choices, portion control and overall living a healthy lifestyle. Baer Health develops individualized plans to meet not only your nutritional needs but also your unique preferences, tastes, and lifestyle.
Andrew Baer, RDN, LDN provides nutrition counseling and planning in Bucks County, PA and Montgomery County, PA for the following health concerns and conditions:
Food Allergies and Sensitivities
Our personalized nutrition counseling is available for weight loss, cholesterol and blood sugar management, nutritional assessments and other dietary concerns.
If you have specific medical needs like diabetes or cardiovascular disease, we will work with you to improve your blood sugar and lower your cholesterol and blood pressure. If you have gastrointestinal issues such as IBS, we can help you develop a nutrition plan to improve your symptoms. For celiac disease, we can create a healthy, gluten-free eating plan.
a lifetime of healthy benefits
Nutrition can be used to prevent, manage, treat, and even reverse many health conditions. With proper guidance and structure, Baer Health can teach you how to use nutrition to relieve a medical condition or even become more proficient in your sport.
Sessions include an assessment of your medical history, your health and nutrition concerns, eating style, food preferences, cooking skills, and personal goals. Together we will craft an Individualized nutrition plan that meets your lifestyle with achievable, step-by-step goals.
Your first session with our dietitian will be a 90-minute one-on-one interactive meeting to give you an opportunity to share your health story, medical needs and eating challenges. From there, we’ll begin to build your personalized eating plan. Follow up sessions are weekly and typically last 60 minutes. This is where you can report back on your progress, review challenges and revise or add new goals.
Baer Health accepts many health insurance plans.
Nutrition counseling may be covered under preventive benefits – with little to no out-of-pocket cost!
